Dr Tim Steele is a comprehensive Ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery, laser vision correction, pterygium surgery, and eyelid and lacrimal procedures. His practice also includes glaucoma management, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and trabeculectomy.
Dr Steele grew up in the Bayside suburbs of Melbourne and studied medicine at Monash University, graduating with First Class Honours as the top final year student. He completed his ophthalmology training at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in East Melbourne.

Dr Steele completed his specialist ophthalmology training at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne. He has since developed broad expertise in cataract, refractive and glaucoma surgery, as well as eyelid and lacrimal conditions.
His additional subspecialty training in oculoplastic surgery in the United Kingdom and postgraduate qualifications in refractive surgery enable him to offer comprehensive surgical solutions across a wide spectrum of anterior segment and periocular conditions.
He remains actively involved in ophthalmic education through his participation in the RANZCO vocational training program, supervising and mentoring future ophthalmologists.
