Dr Kenneth Ooi is a Consultant Comprehensive Ophthalmologist and Cataract, Refractive and Ocular Surface Surgeon with a particular interest in ocular inflammation and complex dry eye disease. His expertise includes cataract and lens-based refractive surgery, laser vision correction and advanced management of inflammatory ocular surface conditions.
He completed his specialist ophthalmology training through Prince of Wales Hospital and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. He also holds a Master of Surgery (Ophthalmology) from University College London and the University of Adelaide.

Dr Ooi has extensive experience in cataract and refractive surgery, including lens extraction for cataract and presbyopia, implantable contact lenses and laser vision correction for myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. His practice integrates careful management of ocular surface health, particularly in patients with dry eye disease.
He also performs ocular surface surgery, including pterygium and pinguecula excision with conjunctival autografting, and manages both medical and surgical treatment of ocular surface cancers.
His subspecialty research fellowships in cornea and uveitis have provided advanced expertise in inflammatory and complex ocular surface disease, which underpins his comprehensive and evidence-based approach to patient care.
