Biography
Dr Jenny Ip is an Ophthalmologist with subspecialty expertise in Medical Retina. She graduated from the University of Sydney and completed her specialist ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital. She subsequently undertook fellowship training in Medical Retina at Westmead Hospital, Sydney.
Dr Ip was awarded a prestigious scholarship from the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) for her PhD research as part of the Sydney Myopia Study. Her original research findings have been presented at Australian and international ophthalmic conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Ip completed her ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital before undertaking a Medical Retina Fellowship at Westmead Hospital. She has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, as well as cataract and glaucoma care.
She is actively involved in clinical research as an investigator in multiple ongoing retinal trials. Her academic contributions include peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. She also plays a key role in medical education as a Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney.
