Dr Hamish McKee is a specialist Cataract, Corneal and Refractive Surgeon with advanced training in laser vision correction and anterior segment surgery.
He completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Otago, New Zealand, before undertaking specialist ophthalmology training in Queensland. Following completion of his general ophthalmology training, Dr McKee pursued subspecialty fellowship training at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital in the United Kingdom, focusing on refractive (laser vision correction), corneal and cataract surgery.

Dr McKee completed specialist ophthalmology training in Queensland before undertaking advanced fellowship training at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital in the UK. There, he gained extensive experience in refractive, corneal and cataract surgery.
He has particular expertise in partial-thickness corneal transplantation and surgical treatments for keratoconus, as well as lens-based and laser refractive procedures. His additional training in glaucoma at the Hong Kong Eye Hospital complements his comprehensive anterior segment practice.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr McKee contributes to academic ophthalmology through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
