Dr Georgina Clark is an experienced Ophthalmic Surgeon with particular expertise in cataract surgery and the medical management of retinal and inflammatory eye disease. Her clinical interests include macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, uveitis and glaucoma.
Dr Clark completed undergraduate and graduate degrees at Stanford University before earning her medical degree with Honours from The University of Sydney. On graduation, she was awarded the Harry J Clayton Memorial Prize for excellence in Medicine and Clinical Medicine, among other academic prizes. She completed her Ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital, including a year as Senior Registrar at Westmead Hospital.

Dr Clark completed her specialist ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital, including serving as Senior Registrar at Westmead Hospital. She then undertook fellowship training in Medical Retina and Uveitis at the Bristol Eye Hospital in the United Kingdom.
Following her fellowship, she was appointed Specialist Consultant at Bristol Eye Hospital, where she practised as a cataract surgeon within the UK National Health Service and supervised ophthalmology registrars.
Throughout her consultant roles in the UK, Sydney and regional New South Wales, she has developed extensive experience in cataract surgery and the medical management of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, complex uveitis, retinal vascular disease and glaucoma.
