Biography

Dr Elizabeth Livingstone is a highly regarded Ophthalmologist specialising in eye surgery and comprehensive eye disease management. She has developed particular expertise in retinal diseases, glaucoma and oculoplastics, with additional experience in cosmetic surgery. She is a founding Fellow of the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery (ACCS).

Dr Livingstone graduated as a physician and surgeon from the University of Melbourne and has worked extensively as a specialist Ophthalmologist both in Australia and internationally. She regularly attends retinal society meetings in Australia and overseas, particularly in the United States and Europe, to remain at the forefront of advancements in retinal care.

Her involvement in aviation medicine includes advancing contemporary colour vision assessment standards as a Designated Aviation Ophthalmologist.

She has also undertaken advanced trauma training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and completed military leadership training while serving with the Royal Australian Navy, further reflecting her breadth of experience and leadership within the medical field.
