Dr Armand Borovik is a specialist Ophthalmic Surgeon with expertise in cataract, corneal and refractive surgery, bringing both clinical excellence and academic leadership to his role as Chief Medical Officer. He completed his ophthalmology training at Prince of Wales Hospital, where he served as Professorial Senior Registrar, before undertaking a two-year subspecialty fellowship at the University of Toronto under internationally renowned surgeon Dr David Rootman. During this time, he developed advanced expertise in corneal transplantation, including minimally invasive partial-thickness techniques and artificial cornea implantation, as well as complex refractive surgery.
